Day 1 & 2: New Delhi
Welcome to New Delhi, the capital city of India. New Delhi is a diverse city blending the old and the new. Our Representative will receive you at airport and will escort you to your hotel.
Visit Old Delhi city that includes Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, the massive Red sandstone Fort is synonymous with Delhi and is proof of the glory of the flourishing Mughal Empire in Delhi. Explore ChandniChowk (Moonlight Square) is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi on a rickshaw ride.
Explore the famous attractions of New Delhi that include India Gate, President House, Lotus temple, Humayun’s Tomb, QutubMinar etc.
Day 3 & 4: Agra
After breakfast at the hotel, head to Agra from Delhi.
Check in to luxurious hotel and take a short break in the hotel.
Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal- one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Taj Mahal was built by famous Mughal emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. The architecture of Taj includes of Persian style and Indian style.
Next day, visit two other UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Agra Fort is an historical fort and was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty. Then proceed to FatehpurSikri (the City of Victory) which was the capital of the Mughal Empire built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar.
Day 5 & 6: Jaipur
Travel on a 5-6 hr journey from Agra to Jaipur.Experience the rich royal’s culture and tradition of Jaipur.
Visit Amber Fort which is located on a hill top that displays the royal architecture of Jaipur. You can enjoy an elephant ride as you head towards the fort. Visit other famous sites such as the City Palace, JantarMantar, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal etc.
Explore the lively markets of Jaipur and enjoy the day ending with a sumptuous Rajasthani dinner.
Day 7 & 8: Khajuraho and Orchha
Travel to New Delhi and fly to Khajuraho.
Arrive in the small town of Khajuraho – located in the state of Madhya Pradesh.History, art and sculpture beautifully come together in Khajuraho, the site of the largest group of medieval Hindu Khajuraho statues and Jain temples.Khajuraho is famous for temples which depicts the great artistic work of 950 to 1050 A.D.Extensive erotic artwork is a hallmark of the temple architecture, inspired by the Kamasutra. Go on a sightseeing tour and explore these unique temples in one of India’s UNESCO World heritage site.
Orchha holds ancient and beautiful monuments dating back to one thousand years. Orchha fort complex is a must visit attraction with a number of palaces within it portraying the stories of wonderful past. It is the only place in the country where Lord Rama is worshipped as a king and not as a god.
Day 9: Delhi
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, fly back from Khajuraho to New Delhi.
