Recommended Itinerary

Day 1 & 2: New Delhi

Welcome to New Delhi, the capital city of India. New Delhi is a diverse city blending the old and the new. Our Representative will receive you at airport and will escort you to your hotel.

Visit Old Delhi city that includes Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, the massive Red sandstone Fort is synonymous with Delhi and is proof of the glory of the flourishing Mughal Empire in Delhi. Explore ChandniChowk (Moonlight Square) is one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi on a rickshaw ride.

QutubMinar and Humayun’s Tomb

The QutubMinar is a towering 73 meter high tower made of sandstone and marble built in 1193 by Qutab-ud-din Aibak. Humayun’s Tomb is one of the most magnificent tombs built in Delhi during the Mughal rule, it is an excellent example of Persian architecture.

One the way back, stopover at India Gate, one of the most popular monuments in the city designed by Edwin Lutyens, India Gate was dedicated to all the Indian soldiers of the British Army who died in World War I.

Day 3 & 4: Agra

After breakfast at the hotel, head to Agra from Delhi.

Check in to luxurious hotel and take a short break in the hotel.

See the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Taj Mahal. It is known for being "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage." Taj Mahal is commissioned by Shah Jahan in 1631, to be built in the memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.

Next day, visit two UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Agra Fort is an historical fort and was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty. Then proceed to FatehpurSikri (the City of Victory) which was the capital of the Mughal Empire built during the second half of the 16th century by the Emperor Akbar.

Day 5 & 6: Jaipur

Travel on a 5-6 hr journey from Agra to Jaipur.

Visit the Amer Fort that displayed the royal architecture of Jaipur. It is known for its artistic style, blending both Hindu and Rajput elements.TheCity Palace of Jaipur now houses a museum and still is a royal residence. Hawa Mahal(Palace of winds) is a palace which was essentially a high screen wall. It is a five-storey pyramidal shaped monument built with red and pink coloured sandstones and decked with 953 small windows. The Jaipur Observatory shows the astronomical skills and the cosmological skills of that time. It is the most significant, comprehensive and well preserved historic observatories in India.

Enjoy the day ending with a sumptuous Rajasthani dinner.

Day 7 to 9: Udaipur

Travel from Jaipur to Udaipur

Udaipur stands as sixth largest city in Rajasthan and the city is also known as the Venice of the East. It is the historic capital of the kingdom of Mewar in the former Rajputana Agency founded in 1553.

Go on a sightseeing tour to explore the famous City Palace,Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Courtyard of the Maidens). Discover the city of lakes and get on a boat cruise on Lake Pichola in the evening with the sunset in view.

Day 10 to 12: Jodhpur

Travel Udaipur to Jodhpur

Enroute to RanakpurJain Temple that was built and dedicated to the first Tirthankara of Jainism by a Jain businessman, DharnaSah in the 15th century. Explore the white marble structure and see how the temple is constructed in a unique manner.

Jodhpur is the second largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthanand is divided into old city and new city. The city is known as the "Sun City" as the sun is visible here first every morning. Go on a sightseeing tour of the old city that circles the fort and is bounded by a wall with several gates. Jodhpur is also known as the "Blue City" because of the blue colours that decorate many of the houses in the old city area.

The city is famous for its magnificent forts and palaces. Mehrangarh Fortis one of the largest Indian forts. The fort stands magnificently 400 feet above the city. The grandeur in architecture is indeed awe-inspiring. JaswantThadawas built in memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh, the second in the year 1899. The tranquility of the marble construction and intricate carvings are uniquely enchanting.

Day 13 to 15: Jaisalmer

Travel from Jodhpur to Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer is situated in the heart of the Thar Desert, it is known as the "Golden City," as it is distinguished by its yellow sandstone architecture.

Dominating the skyline is Jaisalmer Fort and behind its massive walls stand the ornate Maharaja's Palace and intricately carved Jain temples.

In the evening, go on a camel safari into the Thar desert and it is one of those must-try experiences. Optional desert camp is available.

Day 16: Delhi

Fly from Jaisalmer to New Delhi.
